A man was accused of pawning an acquaintance’s personal property and cashing stolen checks at a Johnson City business, according to police.
Timothy Gessel, 28, Johnson City, was arrested by Johnson City police on Sunday and charged with theft over $1,000 and theft under $500.
Gessel was taken to the Washington County Detention Center and being held on $11,000 bond.
He was scheduled to appear in Sessions Court on Wednesday afternoon.
