NASHVILLE – Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam will visit Indian Trail Intermediate School in Johnson City Tuesday to meet with principals and educators who have implemented the Common Core State Standards.The Common Core State Standards is a set of expectations for student outcomes in math and English that were developed by states, including Tennessee, in hopes of ensuring that every student graduates high school prepared for college or the workforce.
