Use of car horns

I liked your recent editorial about appropriate use of an automobile horn — it should be used as a warning only. I recently witnessed a car coming out of a driveway without slowing down turn left in front of an oncoming vehicle, which had to slow down to prevent a collision.The oncoming vehicle driver then honked his feelings. I see that as appropriate. Good luck on stopping young male drivers honking for attention from the girls.ROBERT H. KEITERJohnson City
