A Knoxville woman was arrested for selling drugs near a school Thursday, police said.
A Johnson City police report said investigators were able to buy crack cocaine from Crystal Hester, 24, 2916 Wimpole Ave., on two separate occasions, with one of the purchases occurring within 1,000 feet of a public school.
She was charged with two counts of selling crack cocaine, including charges for selling in a drug-free school zone.
Hester was being held at the Washington County Detention Center on $201,000 bond. Her arraignment was scheduled for Friday at 9 a.m. in Sessions Court.
