Johnson City police said they arrested a woman in connection with an auto burglary.
A JCPD news release said officers arrested Teena L. Hopson, 48, 214 Hillcrest Drive, on Saturday after an investigation of an incident at 512 Grays Pointe Court. The owner of a vehicle there told police she saw Hopson enter her vehicle, which was in her driveway, from the passenger’s side.
She said she witnessed Hopson taking her wallet, coat and purse from her vehicle before approaching Hopson. The woman detained Hopson until police arrived and arrested her for burglary from a motor vehicle.
Hopson was being held on $5,000 bond and had a preliminary court date Monday in Sessions Court.
