OGDEN, Utah — If anyone is trying to find Santa and his many elves, look no further. They were all in Ogden Saturday night running down Washington Boulevard.  About 1,400 people clad in Santa suits and beards ran the annual Santa Race put on by On Hill Events.Race organizer Joe Coles said the Ogden Santa Run is his biggest race of the year.  He organizes about 14 events per year. "It's just a great time of the year," Coles said.  He has been organizing the Ogden race since 2008 and remembers that year with only about 200 racers, how it has become quite the event.  Part of the fun is that instead of giving out T-shirts, race organizers give out Santa suits. That's one of the reasons why Logan resident Jon Meyer wanted to run the race. "I was looking for a race around Christmas and the suit is part of the reason I wanted to run the race," he said as he took deep breaths after completing the race. More on the Santa phenomenon is available from the Standard-Examiner.
