A Johnson City man was arrested Friday on charges of auto burglary and theft under $500 for allegedly breaking into a car at Cookout, 1206 W. State of Franklin Rd. in June.Prince Dean Anderson, 19, 310 Greenway Dr., #1, Johnson City, was arraigned on the charges Monday in Washington County General Sessions Court. The auto burglary happened June 22 when the victim was working at the restaurant.She told police a purse, her cell phone, state identification and her children’s social security cards were taken. Some of the woman’s property was recovered after a friend found her purse.According to an arrest warrant, Anderson borrowed a friends car and drove to Cookout, then a few days later that friend found two social security cards in her vehicle. Another witness told police he saw Anderson and //// attempt to use the victim’s cell phone the same night it was stolen.Related articles:
